With a commitment to safety and well-being, Rampur HPS (412 MW) marked the 54th National Safety Day with great enthusiasm, kicking off Safety Week from March 4 to March 10, 2025. The event took place at the Bail office complex of Rampur HPS.
Safety Pledge & Demonstrations
The Project Head & Chief General Manager, Mr. Vikas Marwah, administered the safety pledge to all employees. The event featured:
✅ Disaster management rescue techniques by NDRF.
✅ Fire safety and emergency response demonstrations by CISF.
Commitment to Highest Safety Standards
Mr. Marwah emphasized that Rampur HPS adheres to the highest safety standards at its power plant and workplaces. Additionally, the company and SJVN’s leadership are fully committed to the safety and well-being of employees and local communities in project-affected areas.
Empowering Local Communities
From March 4-10, 2025, special awareness and training programs on home safety, fire safety, and emergency preparedness will be conducted for women’s groups in project-affected villages. Short drama competitions will also be organized to spread safety awareness creatively.

The theme for this year’s 54th National Safety Week is:
“Safety and Well-being are Crucial for a Developed India.”
This theme aligns with India’s vision of becoming a developed nation by 2047, emphasizing the role of safety and well-being in national growth, workplace security, and public safety.
