Over two dozens vehicles were severely damaged and 8 persons injured when a truck trailer carrying apples lost control with failing brakes, rammed and crushed cars and other vehicles falling on its way, said Shimla district police.
“Eight of the injured people were immediately removed to the IGMC hospital in the city for treatment and all if the patients were out of danger,” said Monika, the SP Shimla.
Vehicles hit by the trolley truck were intensively damaged with side panes, windows, hoods and fronts bearing the high intensity rams and crushes, deshaping the bodies with few getting hits on the engines too.
The Shimla police have registered a case and booked the truck driver under motor vehicle act and probe is in the progress, informed district police.
