In a major step towards fostering international academic collaboration, Shoolini University and Royal Holloway, University of London, have signed a Memorandum of Agreement to launch a unique 1+1 Master’s programme in Biotechnology/Biosciences and Psychology. The partnership aims to provide students with cutting-edge, research-driven learning experiences while ensuring a seamless transition to global education standards.
Professor Julie Sanders, Vice-Chancellor and Principal of Royal Holloway, expressed enthusiasm about strengthening ties with Shoolini University. “This partnership is driven by a shared vision of creating research-infused learning opportunities for our students while promoting a truly global educational experience,” she said.
Under the agreement, students will begin their postgraduate studies at Shoolini University before completing their degrees at Royal Holloway, benefiting from world-class faculty and advanced research facilities. Additionally, the programme is expected to expand to other disciplines in the future.
Ensuring a smooth transition, Royal Holloway has put in place extensive support services for international students. These include pre-arrival orientation, free airport pick-up, and a ‘Home Away from Home’ programme designed to celebrate diverse cultures and foster inclusivity on campus.
Professor P.K. Khosla, Chancellor of Shoolini University, emphasized the institution’s commitment to accessibility, stating, “We provide scholarships for underprivileged meritorious students and will continue to support our students in gaining the best international exposure.”
With this collaboration, both institutions reaffirm their commitment to academic excellence and global engagement, setting the stage for a new era of cross-border education.
