On the occasion of World Health Day, JSW Hydro Energy Limited organised a marathon at Sholtu in Kinnaur district, aimed at spreading awareness about health and well-being among the local community and employees.
The marathon was flagged off by the Head of Human Resources, marking the company’s commitment towards promoting a healthy lifestyle. In his address, Kaushik Maulik encouraged people to prioritise their health and stay fit, underlining the importance of physical activity in daily life.

World Health Day is observed every year on April 7 under the aegis of the World Health Organization (WHO), commemorating its foundation in 1948. The day serves as a global platform to raise awareness on critical health issues and promote healthier living.
This year, JSW Hydro Energy Limited took the opportunity to highlight the importance of occupational health and safety — a subject of utmost significance to the organisation. Various initiatives and efforts are in place across JSW to promote a healthy workplace, focusing on the prevention of occupational accidents and illnesses.
