Shimla, July 27
At the stroke of midnight at Thoondh village near Junga in the outskirts of Shimla city, a son killed his mother, slaying with sword, injuring his brother who jumped to save the mother, said Shimla district police here today.
The killer identified as Rameshwar, have been arrested. The killed mother’s body has been sent for autopsy to the IGMC in Shimla. The Shimla police are probing the matter to know the cause and find materials for strengthening the murder case, said Shimla ASP Kamal Thakur.
The 35 year old brother is being treated in the hospital for the sword cuts and wounds.
