An earthquake of magnitude 4 struck Rampur tehsil in Shimla district in Himachal Pradesh today morning at 9.58 am on the 23rd of February, said IMD Shimla.
The epicenter of the earthquake was at latitude of 31.35 and longitude of 77.75 at Seri Majhali in Rampur tehsil with a depth measuring 7kms.
People of Rampur town and surrounding regions felt
the jolts of the shakings and many rushed out of their houses fearing for life.
No loss of life or property was reported till now from across Himachal Pradesh.
Himachal Pradesh has felt three earthquakes of mild intensity within a period of a week, leaving people struck with fear and speculations.
