With the unearthing of the paper leak scams in Himachal Pradesh, the newly elected Congress government have suspended the Hamirpur based Himachal Pradesh Service Selection Commission (HPSSC) with immediate effect to give a message to the people of the state that present government won’t tolerate corruption of any kind affecting institutions or individual.
Two days ago a special team of Himachal Pradesh anti-corruption department of Himachal Pradesh police had nabbed scamsters involved in selling of the paper due to be held after few days, some of them employees of this recruitment body.
The chief secretary RD Dhiman has ordered appointment of Additional District Magistrate working as development cum project officer at Hamirpur as the administrator of the HPSSC till further order.
The state government have also relieved the present secretary of the HPSSC Jitender Kumar and deputy secretary Sanjeev Kumar of their jobs immediately as the scams have many layers since past many years, having sold many jobs to the jobles youths in the state.
