Given the circumstances, Vimal Negi’s family is contemplating approaching the High Court for justice, as they find the government’s investigative efforts so far unsatisfactory. Notably, his wife and relatives had waited for 15 days, honoring the Chief Minister’s assurances, while an inquiry committee led by Additional Chief Secretary Omkar Sharma was tasked with submitting its report within the same period.
Vimal Negi’s wife, Kiran Negi, and his elder brother, Surendra Negi, have reiterated their demand for a CBI inquiry, emphasizing that only an independent probe can bring out the truth.
