Rampur Bushahr (Bisheshar Negi):Himachal Pradesh’s Public Works Minister Vikramaditya Singh and Congress Himachal president has condemned the recent terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir, calling it a well-planned conspiracy orchestrated by a neighboring country. They emphasized that such incidents must be met with a united and strong response from all security agencies and governments.
Speaking to the media before visiting the Bhimakali Temple in Sarahan, Singh said, “It is extremely unfortunate and inhumane that terrorists brutally killed innocent civilians after asking their names. This act is a direct assault on humanity and a deliberate attempt to instill fear during the peak tourism season in the region.”He further stated that the attack took place at a sensitive time — when the Prime Minister was abroad and the Vice President of the United States was on a three-day visit to India. Singh stressed the need for all political parties and citizens to rise above politics and respond collectively to such threats.Himachal Pradesh Congress President and former MP Pratibha Singh also condemned the attack in strong words, describing it as “unfortunate and deeply condemnable.” She expressed hope that Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who reportedly canceled his foreign trip in light of the incident, would take firm action to ensure the safety of the people and restore confidence among citizens.Expressing condolences to the families of the victims, Pratibha Singh appealed to them to remain strong in these difficult times.Both Vikramaditya Singh and Pratibha Singh were interacting with the public at the Rajmahal in Rampur Bushahr when they addressed the media. Chairman of the Finance Commission, Nand Lal, was also present during the interaction.
