Four people of a family were killed and one seriously injured when a car plunged about 200mts into a stream at Nevti Sheelghat in Nerva tehsil of Chopal constituency in Himachal Pradesh today, said the Chopal police.
Three killed women identified as Panna Deva, Sunita Devi, and Seema Devi were killed in the car crash besides a man Padam Singh, police added.
The Range officer Roop Singh who owned the ill-fated car,was seriously injured and was immediately shifted to local hospital for treatment.
All the deceased hail from the same family and were on the way to visit their relative .
The police have initiated a probe into the accident.
