Shimla, May 4
The Congress party in Himachal Pradesh won 24 of the total 34 seats in Shimla Municipal Corporation election whose results were declared few minutes ago, wresting power from the BJP which won only 9 seat while the left wing CPM also opened it’s account with one seat.
Following are the details of the local body winners spread across 34 wards in the capital city, having one of the oldest Municipal Corporation in the country established in 1851.
