Shimla, July 14
The Supreme Court Collegium headed by Chief Justice DY Chandrachuda recommended the names of two lawyers and one judicial officer in Himachal Pradesh for elevation to the High Court, said an order copy signed by the Chief Justice of India.
Two senior lawyers Ranjan Sharma and Bipin Chander Negi who are practising law in the Himachal Pradesh HC, have been elevated Judges to the bench from bar. Third person to join the bench is Rakesh Kainthla, presently working as judicial offer in Himachal Pradesh Subordinate judiciary.
