Kullu, July 9
Risking their lives in horribly flooded Beas river in Kullu district in Himachal Pradesh, the 14 NDRF team rescued 5 persons from a tourist hut marooned in turbulent muddy waters. This rescue operation was headed by inspector Shashi Kumar amid the heavy rains and all 5 people were transported on a rope laid by the team over the flood river.
