A woman was killed and two other seriously injured in a landslide triggered by heavy monsoon rains at Dhalli in Shimla city today morning, said Shimla police.
“Heavy overnight monsoon rains triggered rockslide and the falling stones hit the car killing a woman occupant on the spot and injuring other two, a man and woman sitting inside,” revealed Shimla police.
Two injured were rushed to the IGMC hospital in Shimla for medical treatment.
Shimla IMD had issued advisory warning people not to venture out unnecessarily in the coming three days because of heavy monsoon rains forecast across the entire Himachal Pradesh.
