To arrest the surge of Covid-19 in the state, Himachal Pradesh government today decided to tighten the restrictions by ordering five days a week work in all government offices except emergency services providers, imposing bann on all kind of religious and cultural gathering, said a government spokesman here today. These orders will stay in operation from Jan 10 to Jan 24 of this year and then a review will be done to issue fresh instructions.
All offices in the state government will work five days a week except essential services providing departments like health, police, fire,power, water etc. All religious, social and cultural gathering stay banned till further order. All kind of political and academic gatherings are allowed with 50percent capacity indoor limited maximum to 100 people whereas outside, people are allowed 50percent capacity with 300 maximum limit.
In all religious organizations, all kind of community food, kitchen, Langers etc have been banned.
A district magistrate in each district will issue order defining the time for the opening and of the shops, markets.
