Himachal Pradesh CM Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu on Sunday announced Rs 50 lakh to repair and widen road, and improve other facilities at Tara Devi to promote religious tourism around Shimla city.
On the first day of the Shardiya Navratra the Chief Minister had gone to offer prayer and perform Puja with his spouse in the Tara Devi temple, a religious ritual a devout Hindu generally perform during these nine sacred days.
This amount allocated will certainly improve the travelling experience to this famous temple if used honestly.
Tara Devi temple located about 25kms far from Shimla, is a very familiar pilgrimage among to tourists with over lakhs of them reaching this sacred spot each year from various parts of the country and state itself.
