The China bordering Kinnaur district in Himachal Pradesh was struck by the earthquake of 4.1 magnitude today morning at 11:27:34, shaking houses and land with few people seen rushing out of their houses.
“The tremor hit the Kinnaur district at a latitude of 31.53 North and longitude of 78.17 East at a depth measuring 10kms,” said IMD Shimla just now.
Nowadays the entire tribal district of Kinnaur is cloaked white by the snow, having a minimum temperature below sub-zero level.
No report of loss to human life and property was received till now from across Himachal Pradesh, said a government spokesman.
