Shimla, September 5
A mild earthquake measuring 3.1 on the Richter scale struck Chamba district in Himachal Pradesh with epicenter at hill station Dalhousie yesternight, said IMD Shimla.
Shimla IMD said that the geographical location of the earthquake was at latitude of 32.49 degree N and 75.98 degree E with depth measuring 5kms below the earth surface.
No report of loss to human life or property was reported till now, said the Himachal Pradesh Disaster Management Authority.
